We are a refractory material manufacturer, with four major factories: heavy brick factory, light brick factory, monolithic refractory factory and fused-cast brick factory.
We promise to provide you with high-quality refractory materials.
Production introduction of fire clay insulation brick
Light clay brick is a light refractory with aluminum content of 30% – 46%. It takes clay clinker or light clinker as the main raw material and is usually produced by combustible method. Porous structure can also be formed by chemical method or foam method. Mix raw materials with water to make plastic slurry or slurry, and extrude or pour, dry and burn it in an oxidizing atmosphere of 1250-1350 ℃. The bulk density of commonly used light clay bricks is 0.75-1.2g/cm3.
Features of insulation fire clay brick
Only in the maximum allowable temperature range, the light clay brick can play the strongest heat insulation effect.
Light clay bricks are mainly used for thermal equipment and industrial furnace insulation layer. It can be used for parts without strong high-temperature molten material erosion and erosion. Some surfaces in direct contact with the flame shall be coated with a layer of fire retardant coating to reduce slag erosion and furnace gas soot erosion and damage.
